As a user of Learnify, you agree that Learnify will handle your personal data. Data processing agreements are signed between Learnify and the respective organization that is the signatory of a contract with Learnify.
Users of Learnify Tools have the ability to create and upload material in the service. You are responsible for ensuring that the material you upload does not infringe on someone else's rights and that the material is not otherwise illegal to make available in the service. Violations of, for example, copyright law can result in both liability for damages and penalties for the author.
Learnify reserves the right to immediately, without first contacting the author, remove material that Learnify suspects infringes someone else's right or that Learnify suspects may be illegal or inappropriate. Learnify may also turn off users who upload unauthorized or offending material.
Some users can to publish training materials in "Open Libraries". Make sure you know the rules that apply to each library before you publish your material to others. In some cases, there are possibilities to choose a license form on your material and to place restrictions on who can use the material. More information about this can be found where you publish material and in the Help Centre.
If you want to use materials that others have uploaded in Learnify, you will need to comply with the terms and conditions set on each material. Improper use of copyrighted material may result in liability for damages and penalties. If you discover material in Learnify databases that you suspect violates copyright, we would like you to report it by sending us a message with the Support button in the Help Centre.
We need some personal data about you in order for you to use Learnify Tools.
We process basic personal data about you, such as your name and email address
When you participate in a training, information about what training you have been assigned, your completion of the training and the results you achieve on any knowledge tests and exercises and, if applicable, your comments and responses in free text fields are stored as well as the learning material that you have created
We collect personal data directly from you or from the organization that has ordered the service for you.
We do not disclose personal data about you without your consent.
Learnify AB is the personal data controller if you use the portal as a private person. If a company or an organization have bought access for you, then Learnify AB is the personal data assistant.
We process your personal data on the basis of Article 6 (b) of the Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679, which concerns the execution of agreements. By agreement here is meant the purchase of access to Learnify Tools.
After you have completed a training with approved results, we save information about the training you have completed and your training results as well as the personal data needed to identify you and to communicate with you. The data is normally stored for at least five years, but the data can be saved for a longer period of time if we consider that it is justified in view of the current training.
You have the right to access information about the personal data we process about you. If the information is incorrect, you are entitled to rectification. You have the right to delete all or some information, if we no longer have a legitimate interest in retaining it. In some circumstances, you have the right to get your information out in a machine-readable and structured way (data portability). You also have the right to make complaints about our processing of your personal data at Datainspektionen.
